A traditional cache is a type of geocache.
Description
This is the original cache type consisting of a container and a log book. Larger containers may also carry swag and/or trackables. The coordinates listed on the traditional cache page are the exact location for the cache.[1]
For most geocachers, the majority of their finds will be traditional caches.
Despite their simplicity in nature, traditional caches allow a lot of room for variation in Cache Sizes, cache design, and placement, allowing for both easy and challenging hides.
Advanced caches are geocaches that have D/T above 1.5. They only are seen on the offical Mobile App. They require Premium membership to log on the app.
